ABOUT ME
Hi/Ciao/Hello! I'm Simona, I come from the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland. I moved to Lausanne to study, I've been living here since 2007. I just finished my Master in English Literature and I am now looking for new opportunities.
I love travelling, meeting new people from all over the world, speak different languages, going to concerts, party, read, hiking, skiing and snowboarding.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm a dreamer but stuck with my feet on the ground.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I share a flat with my sister Larissa and another girl from Ticino. We are up to meet and/or host couch surfers from all over the world.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had my first couchsurfing experience in Oslo, in November 2010 and it was great! I'm looking forward to couchsurf again!!!
Interests
I love travelling and discovering new places while meeting new people. I love to be in the nature, hiking and just contemplate the beautiful wildlife that surrounds us. One of my main hobbies is going to concerts and festivals. I love writing concerts reviews on my blog.
I also like reading, go out & TV series.
I like doing sport, my favourite are ski and snowboarding, so that's why I love Winter and snow!! I wait the entire year for snow to come so that I can ride my snowboard ;)

Favourite books: Harry Potter =) Oscar Wilde: "The picture of Dorian Gray", "The importance of being Earnest". Hawthorne "The Scarlet Letter". Nicholas Sparks
Ron Butlin, "The Sound of my Voice"
Alasdair Gray "1982, Janine"
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I have ever done is certainly my ERASMUS in Aberdeen (Scotland). This experience changed my life and made of Scotland my (second) home. I fell in love with the Scottish culture, its people, I danced ceilidh, ate haggis and tasted whisky and ales.
Thanks to my Erasmus I had the chance to meet amazing people from different cultures and from all over the world. I travelled a lot around Scotland and the UK, seeing the most amazing place I've ever seen so far: the Isle of Skye, a paradise on earth.
Teach, Learn, Share
