About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Take on the world one couch at a time.

ABOUT ME

I can't focus long enough to read an article on ADD.
Most of my furnishings are industrial stainless steel.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live.

Try, not to be a man of success, but one of value. -A. Einstein

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a couch that is typically unused.
Oh, I like to fix things. Maybe it's a karma thing. When I visit I typically fix something.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have always enjoyed the experience of sleeping on a friend's couch. I am new to the official couchsurfers.

Interests

I am interested by a lot. Mostly sciency stuff. I love games, strategy and poker especially. Getting outdoors, running, moving, and doing is also pretty big.

  • running
  • poker
  • outdoor activities
  • history
  • psychology
  • science
  • tourism

Music, Movies, and Books

Pulp Fiction, Fight Club, and Pixar films.
Memento, Star Wars, and the Marvel movies.

Mostly read sci-fi and all of the books you had to read in school.

Music, music, music...
I have a sick collection of 90's 1 hit wonders. Forever a favorite.
I love female vocals. Lilly Allen, Yael Naem, Enya...
Pop music is fascinating. The music and the buzz.
CCR, Royksopp, Ratatat, Gorillaz...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen so many amazing things. As an empiricist I now believe in the mysterious/spiritual. Have you ever felt like you are on the infinite improbability drive from 'Hitchiker's guide to the Galaxy'?

Amazing thing done? I was collecting can tabs in a milk jug for a charity. From over 10 feet away, I tossed one in. It was amazing. The only one I threw. That light little tab went perfectly into the small mouth of a milk jug. I tried again for an hour the next day to no avail. It's small, but if you saw it you would think it was amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can pretty deep when it comes to science or anything tekkie. I'm pretty savvy on how things work. I can fix anything or show you how.

I have studied psychology, memory tricks, and body language with a passion. They can be fun to talk about.

I love to hear about history. I am still confounded on how the past got us to the present.

I love to people watch.
