ABOUT ME

I travelled to Europe at the beggining of the millenium following an impulse. After spending some time in Madrid I decided to try Majorca because the surf is better over there (namely because of having actual beaches).

A series of circumstances after that led me in a pilgrimage through London, Stockholm, Rosario and Madrid (again) for the next five years.

It was whilst back in Madrid that I decided to see a part of the world that I always wanted to visit, so in mid 2008 I went on a long round-the-world trip for about eight months through the USA-Fiji-Samoa-Australia-New Zealand-Chile finishing in Argentina.

It was amazing. But of course I eventually run out of money! So I've recently moved to London where I'm having a great time. I got good friends, a beautiful place to live in and a nice job. So you could say I'm happy for now.

Although, I do sometimes miss the feeling of dust in my shoes and wind in my hair... and I will soon get the travel bug again, so I've already been planning where my next trip is going to be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted quite a few groups with Couch Surfing and I've always had good experiences. I also couchsurfed during my RTW trip, especially in the USA.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite writer is Ernest Hemingway. I've read all of his books and only wish I could live such a full life as he did (well, minus the unfortunate ending). Despite being completely tone-deaf I love music, and I have a bit of an eclectic taste (tho some of my friends say I have no taste).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watched the last sunset in the whole world at a remote beach in Samoa. Dived into an ocean trench. Experienced the true New Orleans nightlife shown to me by my awesome CS hosts. Walked through the Appalachians for a week without seeing another single human being. Played rugby with Fijians and got my ass kicked. Fed a shark, peed in my pants whilst feeding said shark.
