Whatver floats your boat. My Father told me to keep an open mind and if by chance I disagreed with some one to remind myself that "its just another way of doing life".

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Helping to keep it cheap....as a long time wanderer, I have always found good people to hang out with, stay with and share with. Having a home to share is my way of saying thank you to all of those who shared so much with me when I was able to travel more.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not surfed any CS couches...always booked up but someday, it comes back.

Interests

A bit leftist, socially aware, love helping others.Rainbow Family of Living Light...I am into gardening, animals husbandry, green living, low impact traveling, meeting new people, keeping an open mind and teaching others about the Oceans.And I absolutely love teaching people to to surf!

Music, Movies, and Books

I play a bit...Mandolin, guitar, flutes, percussion, bass, harmonica.I don't do movies unless they will teach me something and frankly, I haven't read a book in quite some time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I dare say I know the West Coast from Astoria, Oregon to the Mexican border better than most if not all. I have walked it, biked it, hitched it and surfed it for over 45 years. I know the backroads, the best woods, the best beaches, magical camp spots and hikes. Where to eat, where to shop, where to lose yourself and where to find yourself. I love sharing and reliving these experiences with any one who asks. I should write a book...
