I like to surf, kayak, kiteboard, bicycle and ski. I'm also into sitting around drinking tea or beer with interesting people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have a working holiday visa for all of 2017 in New Zealand, I'm looking forward to getting to know the country, working hard and playing a lot.

Interests

I also enjoy fixing, designing, building, testing and sometimes breaking things. In about that order. I'm a big fan of good design, things that I use regularly tend to evolve over time and it's a fun process.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lately I've been on a Red Elvises kick, in addition to my usual diet of Talking Heads, ACDC, Hilltop Hoods, Fat Freddy's Drop, Primus, Stevie Wonder and whatever I feel like listening to at the time.

I enjoyed Harry Potter and just read a John Grisham novel last month.

I'm into Star Wars and I watch The Castle every few years. Classic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was commissioned to build a fretless bass guitar with a purple heart body a few months ago, it turned out great and the person I built it for was super happy with it. Not sure if that counts as amazing but it's a tough question and that's the first thing that comes to mind.
