Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love the idea of connecting and sharing and simply more personal and off-the-mainstream structures ways of exploring the world. I used to hitch hike a lot when I was younger, I use all kinds of means of transport, I am comfortable with all kinds of accomodation - from 5 star hotels (doesn't happen very often) to camping under the stars. I don't like to stay in patterns, I want my experience to be diverse. I have friends in many different places in the world and it's amazing that people are and stay connected and support each other.
As a couchsurfer I have hosted, I have been hosted and I showed people around and I know there is someone out there who would show the same oppenness.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I loved the beauty of randomness and almost every time it was a very good experience. I loved especially my trip to Amsterdam, where I wanted to study and slept on a boat where all the objects were a bit tilted and the eggs were falling to one side of the pan. People shared a piece of their world with me. Only once it happened I hosted someone who was just a passive aggressive jerk and I couldn't understand why.

seeing human beings and being one of them is already amazing enough
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to cook for people and I can give a nice shoulder massage (really good at it). Also, you are welcome to visit me in Berlin.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can definitely feed them and maybe they will be interested in my stories. A stranger always has a different perspective on the place he/she is visiting and for me (as a host) that's always interesting to hear - I guess it's the same with me when I'm travelling.
