I was born in Germany and after getting a Master's in Special Education, I am not pursuing my PhD in English at the University of Iowa.

I love to read (duh...), watch movies and aimlessly walk around in strange cities.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now, I can--unfortunately--not host since one of my roommates is no ok with it. But if you're in Iowa City, I'd love to meet for a beer / coffee or show you around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I 'couchsurfed' a few times in the US as part of a road trip around the south-west with a friend (2011). I had an amazing time staying in a beautiful hippie-villa (if there is such a thing) right in the middle of a National Park, in an historic landmark in Portland and on a sheep and horse ranch in Utah.
