ABOUT ME

My current mission is 'Mini Adventurer' because right now I'm appreciating the local hills and countryside around were I live.... I have wanderlust for Aberdeen! Im writing this in spring and right now the weather is beautiful and nature is coming to life. The best way to spectate it on my bike!

PHILOSOPHY

Bill Hicks put it pretty well: The world is like a ride at an amusement park, and when you choose to go on it, you think it's real because that's how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down and round and round; it has thrills and chills and it's very brightly colored and it's very loud and it's fun... for a while. Some people have been on the ride for a long time, and they begin to question: "Is this real, or is this just a ride?" And other people have remembered, and they come back to us, and they say, "Hey - don't worry, don't be afraid -EVER- because, this is just a ride." And we... KILL those people HAHAHA! "Shut him up! We have a lot invested in this ride - SHUT HIM UP! Look at my furrows of worry! Look at my big bank account, and my family! This just HAS to be real!"... But it's just a ride. And we can change it anytime we want. It's only a choice. No effort, no work, no job, no savings of money. A choice, right now, between fear and love.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Kyaking club - I like to go kayaking in the summer in Seaton Park with Aberdeen Kyaking Club.
I'm on the Peacock (Art Gallery) mailing list and IMP (Aberdeen music) mailing list. So I attend regular gigs and events.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Wonderful! I made some of my closest friends through it! However, I don't have any couch surfers these days - I'm too busy!

Reading, going for coffee, movies, gigs, making jewellery, making things from fabric, kayaking, cycling around town/countryside, listening to music, dancing in the kitchen, dancing in a club.

Films: Not having a tv has turned me into a film buff. I love Blade Runner, Moon, Lost highway, Studio Ghibli films (Japanese animation), Mad Max, the Alien movies. I love anything with with Charlie Chaplin or Will Ferrel. silly comedy and scifi is generally what I go for!

Music: Little Dragon, The Cocteau Twins, Chad Vangaalen, Bjork, Kate Bush, apex Twin, Boards of Canada, The Smiths and generally and generally any band that's played on BBC 6 Music.

Books: The Crimson Petal and The White, Under the Skin, Happy Birthday Wanda June, The Dice Man, Catcher in The Rye... Id love to read more often...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Iv bathed naked in melted glacier water in Iceland which was a lot of fun.

Yesterday when i was walking to work, i saw a woman and her child interacting with a cat that was sitting on a windowsil.They were laughing. I thought it was very cute.
