I'm Susan, a 31 year old travel addict from Germany. Usually I am a Social Worker, who works with children and babies who suffer from mental or physical disease. But my passion goes out into the beauty and nature of our colorful world, yeah man!

I've been traveling already to a lot of places in Southeast Asia, Australia, the caribbean sea and of course Europe, always by doing backpacking. I think its an extraordinary opportunity to get in touch with different cultures and lifestyles, not only because its interesting, but rather because its inspiring, keeps me openminded and tolerant, and -of course- to feel freeeeeeee.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is the prefect way to get in touch with personal lifestyle and not be the classic tourist. There is no better way to experience a new culture than staying with locals, getting to know their way of living and the best recommendations what to do in a new place :-). And on the other side, I will get to know people from all over the world in my home, which -like I said - keeps me still openminded in my comfort zone ;-). Its my please to welcome you.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

quit my master studies at university (because it sucked) and went hiking and walking on the camino de santiago in spain for over a month - best decision ever!
