About Me

Hi! I’m Susan, an Anthropology student. I’m starting my last semester so I won’t be traveling for some time, that’s also why I’d love to host or even just hang out!
IMPORTANT: I’d prefer to get your request for the same week (maximum two weeks in advance) :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I look forward to meeting people with lots of stories to share, learn from them, dream and get inspired, because I feel I haven’t experienced enough but I want to!
Moreover I find cultures fascinating, especially small details, so I’d like to meet local people and get to know local habits, local music and so on

Interests

Hiking, orchestra, violin, landscapes, sunsets between the mountains and sunrises over a lake, acrobatic stuff, books, horses and galloping, camping, vegetarian food

Music, Movies, and Books

I’ve played the violin for a long time but mostly classical pieces so now I want to learn how to play folk music! I love listening to other people playing their instrument, whatever that is, while when I listen to music it’s mostly Italian songwriters, classical and country folk

I’m getting to know cinema, so far I’ve loved Blue Velvet, Happy together, Il Vangelo secondo Matteo, The Seventh Seal; was charmed by Picnic at Hanging Rock, Underground, Carmen, The Great Dictator and many others

I don’t read as much as I would like to but I try! Essays, novels, classical literature usually
Recently read Narcissus and Goldmund, pure poetry in some parts, laughed a lot reading Gogol and dreamed thanks to Borges

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

GR20 south alone

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my experiences and I’m open to really everything you can teach me! I’m always looking for chances to try new things, learn, get inspired
