About Me
I love languages, which is why I study them, and seeing new places, which is why I travel!
I'm a university student and live in a dormitory with many very different and very fun people. Last year I spent a semester in Zaragoza, and I've previously worked at a boarding school in England.
In my free time at home I like to read (fantasy novels mostly), play games with friends and go on walks (preferably with my dog). I've taken dance classes for many years, but now I do cheerleading.
Growing up I was very quiet and shy, but I have since then forced myself to be more outgoing and experience life, and travelling has helped me to do that. As a result, I now have a split personality, one part lone selfentertaining reader, one part exploring yesman.
Pick the one you prefer ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love travelling, and staying with locals gives you a whole other experience of a place than staying in a hotel or hostel. They have tips and insights you can't find in a tourist brochure, and other than only getting a feel of a place's architecture or nature, you also get some of its culture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just one? Hm... Most recently, being thrown up in the air as a cheerleader. Before that, skydiving, paragliding, hiking in mountains - So basically stuff that brings me closer to the sky :P
I think it is important to challenge yourself both with regard to actions and perceptions in order to evolve as a person, and travelling is one important tool for doing that.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A local meal (or I can try cooking a Danish one :S), a walk, a fun night of playing games or going dancing, and hopefully some interesting cultural and linguistic insights :)
