Overview
About Me
please note: I do not live in Florida. This means I am not able to host in Florida, it is my hometown -- I have been baseless living all over Europe for the last 10 years. Please note I do not host in Florida.
I am doing the digital nomad life so sometimes I can host, sometimes I can just meet up. Happy to help when I can! Currently, (Nov 2025-December 2025) I will be wandering Italy, Austria, then heading to Poland! …see you here, there and everywhere! After Jan…England :)
I use this site for travel and cultural exchange, not dating. I love old school style Couchsurfing when I meet cool people and learn a bit about the things they love where they live.
I shall not be held accountable for the sarcasm that will ensue if you do not read my profile before writing. 😈
CURRENT MISSION
1. Make the world a little better each day. 2. Experience, enjoy, and learn by following my curiosity.
ABOUT ME
I value experience over book knowledge, kindness over outward success and spellcheck (I really love spellcheck). Trying new things is part of living, when I am able I will travel the world. My life has been one plot change after another, by choice. Eclectic and quirky may be a way of describing myself. I certainly don't take myself seriously so geeky, white girl, will work too as a description.
PHILOSOPHY
Be nice, respect all living things, and never take yourself or situations too seriously.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I can maybe host people, sometimes there is spare room in the place I am renting, or spare bed in my hotel. I also love to utilize a couch when I am visiting new places. Currently, I am a digital nomad... so I am not sure when I can host.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I use the site mostly for hangouts but also surf and host. It is fabulous to meet people while traveling with or without the site. People make a place special, not the buildings I see.
Interests
I enjoy playing outdoors (hiking, biking, swimming, camping, etc), making things, doing art, seeing live music, travel, gardening, writing, yoga, meditation, planning random adventures....
- photography
- yoga
- meditation
- hiking
- medicine
- art
- herbalism
Music, Movies, and Books
I can be a film snob at times, but love a silly flick too. Music--Love it all minus really bad pop. I mostly listen to lesser known indie bands. As for books, I slowly read informative books (mostly health related or mind body books) then devour things like Christopher Moore books that are pure fun. I do love a good audio book when road tripping.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Working in the free clinics in Mexico...most interesting cases, amazingly loving people and most rewarding thing I do.
Teach, Learn, Share
Always in the mood for listening to good travel stories. Sharing ideas, and teaching what ever I can that you would like to know.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am quite handy with a first aid kit, can whip up great snacks or a meal, help around the house and basic car repair if you own a VW. I travel with my acupuncture needles at all times :) Happy to do acupuncture, take you out for a drink or meal--Not here to free load...just love seeing life in a non-tourist way, meeting interesting people, and listening to stories.
