À propos de moi

ABOUT ME

Hello beautiful people out there! :)
I am a young woman from the cheesy Switzerland, with Russian roots. My hometown and where I am also based is the beautiful city of Basel. Basel is directly on the boarder to Germany and France and has, despite the rather small size a lot of things to offer. Especially for those, who are interested in arts and culture.

I really like to communicate with other people and see the world with an open mind! I am really spontaneous, friendly and communicative. It will never be boring with me, because I always have something to show or to tell:P

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Honestly for me there is a difference between just making holidays and traveling. Holidays is for relaxing and maybe even more to enjoy some "me-time." Travelling ist to get to know the world and it's people. The culture, the stories.

I want to meet locals and get in touch with different people from different countries. Maybe even have the luck to share a bit of the daily life of them. To expand my horizon and to see the diversity of our planet.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

In Summer 2010 I have been was on a 4 weeks Israel-tour with other young people from my country. It was really amazing. I did so much impressive things, like an eight hour walk threw water and land. We swam in our clothes and slided from little waterfalls:D
I could write a long list, but it's more interesting to exchange stories in real life:)

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

Our flat is located in a very urban, lively and central location in town. So you will have also the oppurtunity, if I have to work, to explore town by your self, because all the cool stuff is right in front of our doors.

Also I can learn you some Swissgerman of course, tell you alot about life in Switzerland and sometimes I also can be funny. yay

I am not really a good cook, so I will NOT teach you some swiss-meals. But I can show you how you should NOT cook it, and then show you a nice place to eat in the city:))

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

I was born and grew up in Basel. Which means I know the city pretty well. That will give you the chance to be taken to a cool tour around the city with a "local guide";). I can show you all the sightseeings and also the much cooler stuff, that not every normal tourist will see, if he or her visits the city.
Also I like to go out on weekends, so I can introduce you to the quit lively nightlife of Basel. But if you are not a party-person, it's also okay of course. Then we can sit at our chimney in the living-room ( maybe with some roommates of mine) enjoy a good local beer and we can teach you some funny Swiss-words.
