About Me

We are Pedro and Susana, a young Spanish couple passionate about travels and adventures. We are both students in Madrid, the city where we both grew up and that we love, he studies Pharmacy and I study Medicine. This year after coming back from our last summer adventure in Thailand we made the decission of taking a gap year for a low budget long-term journey abroad. As too many people, we tried to convince ourselves that we would do it "someday" but then we realised that day would never come unless we did something for it. As my father says, we dont remember time, we remember memories! And this is why we travel, for creating memories that will remain forever and living life to the fullest.

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didnt do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." Mark Twain

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When we heard about couchsurfing we automatically thought that there could be no better way of experiencing fully and deeply the culture of the place you are visiting from the inside. Understanding the true meaning of generosity, breaking out of your comfort zone, making new friends...

Interests

Pedro is a very athletic person, he loves jogging, riding his bike, swimming... He wants to prepare for a triathlon. Together we also go skiing, surfing, rock climbing, hiking... I love hiking, I think it really clears your mind and its a great way to unwind and get back on track while being in the wild outdoors and enjoying amazing views. Ive had some experience in yoga and meditation but id like to improve at it and integrate it in my daily routine.
