About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Traveling, knowing peoples and cultures, learning new things...

ABOUT ME

Let me tell you about myself... well, about me... I am...

Well, for certain, I, me and myself get along very well [most of the time]...

I love reading - fantasy, SciFic, and epic stories are my favorites. Reading for me is like escaping from the place I live and enjoy wonderful adventures. When traveling is like living those adventures myself... And that's awesome!

I have to admit I've not been the exactly adventurous type, but in my mind, I have always been that kind.

I'm the kind of person who laughs aloud for nothing and cry over a movie or book end. I'm crazy I know, but the best people are... or that's what the White Rabbit says...

I have never tried but I'd love to go camping, hiking, to enjoy nature, to discover places off the beaten path.

My hobbies, besides reading, are listeting to music, watching movies, surfing the net, hanging out with friends and talking about all and nothing while enjoying a cup of coffee (or tea!)

I think that's quite a lot for a description... ehh... if you want to know a bit more, we can hang out and go for a coffee or a drink =D

PHILOSOPHY

Your language is the limit of your world.

Nunca me he sentido árbol - I've never felt like a tree

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I haven't really participated in CS until now... I signed up when I was living in Quebec; I wanted to visit places over there but eventually I traveled but didn't participate with CS. When I came back to Mexico, I didn't have a couch available so I couldn't participate either.
I forgot about it until a few years back when I traveled on a shoestring budget to Europe, starting in UK. And since I got back to Mexico, I've been participating more actively with the CS community here.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As I traveled, I surfed a lot around UK and Europe. All of them have been great experiences.

Back in Mexico, I started participating more actively with the CS community, hosting and surfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading. My top 10 authors are: JK Rowling, JRR Tolkien, A Rice, I Asimov, GRR Martin, J Verne, A Dumas, CS Lewis, A Robillard, P Pullman, C Funke... And many others, but I think that's more than 10 ;)

I also love music, especially rock. My favorite bands are: BackStreetBoys (my teenage favorite), Avril Lavigne (the old-skater style), Three Days Grace, Godsmack, Shinedown, Evanescense, Simple plan (the old, punk style), Nickelback, Seether, etc.

I love movies too. I prefer fantasy, sci-fic, romantic comedies, some light horror, and thrillers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've...
Seen the frozen falls in Niagara with amazing friends...
Roadtripped up and down U.K. visiting many cities and towns and making friends all along the way...
Stayed near Paris for over a month as an Au pair with a French family who welcomed me so warmly that I felt like home...
Made fantastic friends while road tripping around Italy....
Spent a crazy amount of time in planes during a one-week record trip over Canada visiting amazing places, meeting amazing people, and reminiscing wonderful memories...
