I am very active – often too much to be honest – and tend to get tired of routines and going to the same places all the time, so I like to wander around to find new little spots and hidden corners. While doing this I love being stopped by travelers or lost foreigners asking for directions or tips on nice places to eat or have a drink.

I also love that feeling one has when reaching a new destination. I love figuring how things work in a new place and how local people go about their lives .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm new to the official CS experience, as most of the couches I have surfed and homes I have visited are from friends or friends of friends (of friends..)

Seeing a place through the eyes of a local person is the best way to really know it, I guess that is one of the great things about CS.

Interests

Few things bring me more pleasure than traveling. And not just the actual traveling time, but the anticipation of it and even the that feeling of fulfillment (and nostalgia..) when returning home.

I love trying new foods and a good wine (or whatever local drink that goes with it). Food experiences are always a good way to engage with people and the local culture.

I generally enjoy being outdoors, especially when climbing.
Relaxing at a quiet beach with a good book is of course always a good plan.
