ABOUT ME

I am a 21 year old Canadian excited to learn as much as I can this summer and I hope to meet many new friends along the way!
I am a fun outgoing person who is attempting to conquer Europe's wonderous landscape this summer.
Unfortunately I am traveling alone so I really hope this can help me meet some great people who can give me someone to grab a coffee with.
I like to play all kinds of sports, soccer and rugby are favourites, I specialize in classical history which includes knowledge of ancient greek and latin (both dead languages, but I am hoping to pick up some live ones on my travels!).
I like museums and I love to read. I have lived with many different types of people and I am always respectful of others space and requests.
I am always up to do anything and I love trying new things and experiencing new cultures and cities.

Interests

Soccer, reading, Greek and Roman things, music, dancing, beer, concerts, TRAVELING!
Coffee, I need this in the morning or I am useless!
I love talking to people and hearing about their experiences.
I love to learn languages (I have two dead languages under my belt which help me in other languages which I hope to be fluent in like 10 years)

Music, Movies, and Books

All books are excellent. I love to read!
Movies: Zombieland, Notting Hill, One Week, Gladiator, Indiana Jones, Titantic, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, fight club and many more.
Music: Rock music and bands like Rise Against, pop music and top 40 radio hits are always fun to dance to.
I have to add in that R&B side I have as well, nothing like a good tune to get you pumped for the day

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled to Greece and Italy in 2006 and it was the most amazing experience I could have ever had. This time I am going back with a head full of knowledge about the culture and I want to expand my trip to western Europe.
Crazy adventures with my friends like staying overnight at a hill and laughing the whole time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have extensive knowledge in ancient Greek and Roman history, so I can be a real tour guide at ancient ruins!
I want to learn more about modern history and expand my horizons.
I love all types of history and philosophy but I wish I knew more! University has made me want more knowledge!
