About Me
I used to be pretty adventurous and curious about life, so I have some stories to share if someone is interested :) For example about when I solo-hitchhiked through eastern Europe and Balkan. But by now, I discovered the beauty of a more calm, slow and settled life for myself. Still learning though to take normal / common paths instead of walking in the wild.
I care about a healthy, heart/soul (or however one wants to call it) fulfilling life in which people, nature, love, social exchange and help are of great matter.
I love new experiences, I love getting to know people and their stories, how life gave them their shape.
I appreciate and enjoy so many things in life :)
Unfortunately my current living / flat situation doesn't allow me to host someone..

Music, Movies, and Books
There are great musicians of many genres that can touch my like crazy. Jack White, Alt-J, The Strokes / Julian Casablancas, Dope Lemon, Patrick Watson, just to give some examples. My tendency goes to Rock music though.
Movies: The fabulous destiny of Amélie Poulain, Into the wild, Forrest Gump, the English Patient, Frida, and some more.
The last inspiring book I read was "The discovery of slowness" by Sten Nadolny.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Solo-hitchhiking to the black sea, making my way back west through Bulgaria, Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro and Bosnia. Along the way I spent time in mountains and forests, slept in emergency shelters, in Romania I volunteer worked on a very wild and remote family farm, and so on. It's been beautiful.
'Solo' because I enjoyed how much more one usually gets in contact with local people when travelling alone.
Astonishing moments when trekking in Himalaya.
In the end for me it's been more about the "small" things happening along the way, like talking to strangers when travelling who later became great friends or enriched my life in a different way. Or the many goose-pimples causing moments like spending the night in a sleeping bag on a wooded mountain above an ancient village, with beautiful people I met on a long-distance trek, eating cheese, drinking wine, one playing a celtic pipe..
