ABOUT ME
“I wonder if I've been changed in the night. Let me think. Was I the same when I got up this morning? I almost think I can remember feeling a little different. But if I'm not the same, the next question is 'Who in the world am I?' Ah, that's the great puzzle!”
- Alice in Wonderland
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Obviously I’m here just to find a free couch and free tour guide. Oh and as well to misuse it as a dating platform.
Of course not.
Its' obviously all the stuff you can read in any second profile, but it's just the truth: I like to meet inspiring, open minded and humorous! locals to share some moments and memories with. I definitely prefer to get to know a place or a culture by hanging out with people who can actually tell and show me more than any lonelyplanet ever could do.
Interests
Luckily I can find joy in anything, so yeah my interest-list is as long as the cinema advertisements before the movie starts. I can spend hours crafting on something, till I get distracted and start practicing on my ukulele career. After two songs I switch to watching permaculture or sustainability documentations to fire my spirit to change the world. But then I click on some tv show and get lost in twin peaks or Arte documentaries or however you name them. Being lazy is awesome. But enough Computer time, I go out, hiking, diving, climbing, meeting humans, meeting cats, meeting snails, meeting all other meetable living creatures. Yes, I am also not afraid of the dark, so I like to go out. I love water, but wine’s pretty seducing man. Good job on that Dionysus. I love to dance. I love adventures. I really love adventures. Oh and I can be sophisticated too. Museums - I do them, theaters- rock, books – you guys make my heart beat faster (and so shameful of me neglecting them nowadays). And food. Everyone loves it, right?
So basically I'm an excited chaos, that still get's her shit together.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living in Malaysia on a freaky mangrove river, because on...
... High tide = blue river, glowing plancton and jellyfish.
... Low tide = green river, otters and lizards.
... Under my house = a giant King Cobra eating a python!
... Above me = loud monkeys waking me up, watching me.
While being broke - surviving on fishing with crocodiles and picking coconuts.
Surviving in the jungle, living with Mayans and building with their help a traditional hut as well as learning about native Corn and other Do's and Don'ts in the wild.
Living in my 4x4 for endless months in the outback, forests, deserts of Australia.
Meeting all those peeps, that keep my life fulfilled. Thanks to all those beautiful people.
And what to say...to be true, its hard to wrap truly amazing things in words especially since many simple moments give me the shivers.
Teach, Learn, Share
Since I have so many interests, there are few things that I'm perfectly good at, but whatever, I’m a generalist. So I can do many…well… some things kinda good.
I’m offering you…one magic trick, super basic juggling skills, how to do a breakdance freeze, a russian poem, some jokes, how to find north and south with the stars, how to get rid of a hiccup, some random half-interesting facts, stories, pancake flipping, a little bit of Salsa and 5 seconds of awsome kasachok moves … I’m an allrounder and therefore like a leatherman always good to keep around.
If by chance you've got a little workshop close by, I could teach you goldsmithing.
Anything that fits my interests or is simply something new to me would be great to do/learn. I’m a curious child. Show me something fun and I will be keen to try it.
