About Me
Hi! I'm 25 years old, just recently graduated with a B.A. in English from Virginia Commonwealth University. I love to read-- (currently in the midst of Dark Star Safari by Paul Theroux, though David Sedaris is my unrivaled favorite). I love exploring new places and meeting kind, interesting, funny people from all walks of life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am preparing for a trip to South America, set to arrive in Santiago, Chile on November 18th, 2015. I bought a one-way ticket and plan to travel around via work exchanges and couchsurfing.
Interests
reading, writing, traveling, enjoying the company of my friends and family, music, exploring unknown places, meeting new and interesting people, learning about cultures I have minimal exposure to, not taking anything too seriously and skillfully avoiding the company of anyone who does.

Teach, Learn, Share
My ideal travel itinerary consists loosely of seeing beautiful places and meeting interesting, compassionate people with whom I can eventually reciprocate as a host in the US.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook, clean, and hopefully make you laugh:) I'd be grateful and delighted to have the opportunity to hang out with my host but am also perfectly content with fending for myself during my stay. Also, I promise to return the host favor tenfold if you come to my hometown in Richmond, VA at any point in the future!
