Some of the most beautiful connections that I've forged have been through this site. I met one of my closest friends in 2013 when he opened his home to me in Iceland, and when the two of us drove around the US for two months later that spring, we were so moved by the kindness of all the hosts who welcomed us. This network really affirms my faith in humanity.

I went skydiving once, and it was the closest I've ever come to a religious experience.
