Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started couchsurfing when I came to Japan in 2015 and realized it is an amazing opportunity to meet new people in places you are new to. You get to experience how people live, learn about their culture and most of the people I met really enjoyed showing me around, having dinner or even parties or just spending time with me. The openess and hospitality was an amazing experience and I hope to someday be able to also welcome people at my home. Of course it also is nice to save some money when you’re on a low budget trip, but the best thing about it is that you will meet friends and make experiences, which you will not if you are staying in a hotel all by yourself.
