ABOUT ME

I've traveled extensively and well owing in good part to the kindness of strangers (though my son is fond of saying that I've never met a stranger, rather just potential friends ;-). I'm a food writer for Ashland and the surrounding areas, so I can answer nearly all of your questions about where to eat (or drink!).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love my little town and enjoy sharing it with others. In turn my preferred style when I travel myself is to 'live like a local', which I find so much easier to do with hosts who are happy to tell me what THEY love about their little corner of the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm actually fairly new to couchsurfing formally - I've done plenty of home exchanges and hosted a great many 'friends of friends' who were looking for a place to crash as they passed through. Lots of long term friendships formed over the years.
