I teach music in a rural part of Oklahoma. I have four wonderful kids that I love dearly. I play in 5 different bands and teach 32 students a week. I also teach adjunct at a local college. I enjoy people and building relationships which are meaningful and built on truly caring.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My daughter Kate Pottebaum used Couchsurfing and suggested it to me as an affordable way to travel and meet interesting people.

I love many kinds of music. I like reading things which I learn from. I read my Bible because it gives me wisdom and insight to human nature like no other book I have ever read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I didn't do it, yet God changed my heart at age 47 and my life has never been the same.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I play guitar, fiddle, and mandolin. I know hundreds of folk songs because I have played and sung in bands most of my life. I have endurance.
