About Me
Some things ahead: If I confirm your stay, you can stay here, even if I don't write you the next day. I'll be writing you soon enough :) If I confirm a stay, I'm expecting you, and if you would not come for any reason, please send me a message. Thanks!
I prefer guests over 25 years, but if yu're younger and seem to be cool I might give it a try. ;)
And please don't request, if you are just not willing to pay for a hostel room. I'm in for communication and interaction, that's why I'm participating here. Doesn't mean we need to hang out all the time but if you just want a cheap place to stay, I'm the wrong person.
I think I am a friendly, honest, outgonig and open mindet person who likes to laugh and is interested in meeting different kinds of people. I think I'm quite well to get along with and easy to talk to, I'm always up for a good concert or a beer in a cool little pub or a walk in the city or in the park. I like the city life, but I also like nature, long bike tours along the coast or a tea and a cake in a nice little garden cafe in the coutryside. In short terms other things I like... sports, cats, good talks, asian food, italian food, food in general :), cooking, baking, travelling, Krabi, Kreta, Paris, Hamburg, Warnemünde, Bielefeld (my hometown!), taking the train, irony and sarcasm, HSV, festivals (I should do that more often!), having my own opinion, sunny weather, politeness - a "thank you" or "sorry" won't kill you! -... and what is listed below.. I dislike: racism, sexism, people with a stick in the a.. (as we say in german) and those who think they can discriminate on or take advantage of others because they think they are better in any kind of waf - f*** off -, changing trains in Bad Kleinen, vasps, stupid jokes on vegetarians (hey - I don't make fun of anybodys eating habtis either), winter, snow and rain...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Beause I have the chance to meet people I wouldn't meet otherwise, charing experiences and maybe making new friends. My boyfriend and I like to travel but not always the conventional way, it's way cooler to meet locals who show us around a bit. Since we don't have much money and opportunity to travel a lot ourselves (life in Hamburg is expensive and Lily doesn not want to stay alone that much) we decidet to invite the world to our place to share new experiences.
And because it makes me reassure myself, that there are nice, open-mindet and honest people around - due to my job I'm sometimes close to losing my faith in manhood or at least the youth of today :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: mostly Electro, Rock, Alternative, Punk, Britpop... the very most Electropunk (Audilith records and stuff like that)
Contemporary french movies like "Paulette" or "Die fabelhafte Welt der Amelie" (too lazy to look up the english title), genereally (good!) comedy and crime storys like the good old german Tatort :)
Favourite books ever are those by Stieg Larsson, but I read a lot of other stuff too
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I count three:
standing on top of the Empire State Builing on my 17iest birthday
the 7-Islands-boat trip in Krabi Thailand
..and more than once - sitting on the stairs below Sacre Coer cathedral in the sunset, drinking a cold beer from one of the indian traders running around (I still wonder where the keep their drinks cold) and watching the most amazing football artist climbing up the lantern balancing the ball on his head
