ABOUT ME

I am a curious, creative and eco friendly soul that loves to travel and meet new people. I want to see as much of the world as I can now that my kids are grown up, one has left home and living overseas and I am hoping the other will follow soon! while I am still of sound mind/body/spirit I am keen to get out there and nourish my soul with new friendships, new sights and new experiences. I care about people and have run an international homestay here for 12 years, met loads of really cool people from all over the world, and have seen about 9 countries myself. I am coming to the UK for 3 months on this couchsurfing trip from Oct 25 2012 to Jan 25, as I did 5 weeks couchsurfing in the South West in Feb/March and LOVED IT! I arrive in London and hope to see the South West friends again, and this time go to the north and also Scotland, perhaps Ireland too. So if you can accomodate me on the cheap, I would love to swap stories of life, love and travel with you! I am young at heart, and hopefully look and act younger than my years, but I am mature responsible and practical when the need arises! Out to connect with humanity moreso on the world stage in 2012, it just feels like the right time for us to be all connecting peacefully and creatively.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel that there is a new movement of positive change happening, many of us are looking at what is happening on the planet and feel the need to be more compassionate, more honest, more ethical and more connected. Rather than just point the finger and criticise, let's definately expose.. but push for solutions that can all help us live more equitably, sustainably and peacefully.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to give and receive for sure and have hosted travellers for a long time. I would love to get back into flow now and just see where life takes me for while, recharge my spirit and meet some creative, earth friendly people that share common interests. I love music (I was a bass player in bands), arts, permaculture, yoga, meditation, laughing, good food and fine wine in moderation! I am artsy, love a good laugh, alternative, an extroverted introvert in some ways, and always looking to find the other sides of me that other people bring out. Namaste.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed England from London to Devon to Somerset to Brighton and Bristol for 5 weeks in Feb/March 2012. ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT and met the BEST people couchsurfing and I cannot rave enough about it. England I love you!!! Am coming over again Oct 27 to Jan 25 this time for 3 months 2012/13 and hope to meet more cool people, go wider in my travels and have another awesome life experience sharing yours and your stories.~! Namaste!!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

India, Bali, Malaysia, America, Mexico, China, Australia.. but my favourite place in the world so far is Rishkesh India, on the Ganges River... :-)
Most amazing thing so far was attending the Kumba Mehla festival with millions of spiritual pilgrims on the Ganges in Haridwar..
Also, the South West of England couchsurfing for 5 weeks in Feb/March 2012 was a magical experience for me, Dartmoor, Glastonbury and Totnes were all places I want to call home once again, loved the people, the scenery and the organics.. plus the energy of the place was amazing. I look forward to seeing all the same again, and new friends too, in Scotland, Ireland and beyond this trip Oct 27-Jan 25. WoooHoooo!!!!
