I am deeply interested in history and places. Historical ruins is what I love the most amongst places of travel.Travelling makes me happy because it makes me realise that the world is so much larger and bigger than you can imagine at times. The warmth and care I have received from absolute strangers has overwhelmed me.And I am fond of good food too :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The reasons are similar for most of us who are a part of this community I suppose. Its a great way to get to know people from other cultures, become friends and getting to know about a vast range of things that one is absolutely unaware of. From kinds of music and other interests to different conceptions about things. Sometimes, its also great to find a strange level of similarity when what you set out expecting was simply differences.

I also do believe in making this world a better place, a place where women feel safer and unhindered to travel on their own. Being on couchsurfing is just another way of extending that chain of fellow women travellers!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Conversations is what mostly keeps me going in daily life. I like nothing better than a good conversation. Stories about stories, books, films, travels, experiences... I can try to cook for you too (I am not to great at it!) I have lived in communal spaces for a very long time which has left me an extremely flexible and hassle free person (I hope!)
