About Me
How can we create delight and novelty in the pandemics?
connections to people who are thinking about the body and the imagination and how we can transform overwhelming feelings and emotions into an experience of thriving. I am an installation artist and a puppeteer, which I do for the enjoyment of creating and playing with people.
I have a lot of energy for queer community, creating safer spaces, and stories.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Going to a new town to look around it has its fun, but the reason I travel and host people is to learn about a place with new eyes. That's a really good time.
I am big into chatting and figuring out the world together.
Music, Movies, and Books
The Body Keeps the Score is a great book about how we can use awareness of our bodies to feel mentally better.
I really like music that shakes my bones. Heavy dance music and brass bands.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
At a wedding in rural Romania, a violinist accompanied a woman dancing through the hall with a whole roast chicken held on a plate above her head. She presented this to the bride, lit a cigarette and put it in the chicken's mouth. Everyone applauded.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am developing therapeutic exercises for embodiment and playfulness that I'd be delighted to share. I am learning a lot about talking to the body and ways to feel really good in it. And I have clown games.
What I Can Share with Hosts
An enthusiastic appreciation for your town. A place to stay in Montreal. A yummy meal made with all the colours and freshness.
