I am a Nepalese business person& a social worker. I live with my lovely and inspiring family in Manamaiju 8 Kathmandu. My husband name is
Mr. Hari Silwal, who is my inspiration of life and a great support ever & everywhere. He is a business man by job and we have joint family. We live life lively & always search for a reason to be more happy (better than a medicine !!! Right). So if you have this medicine please visit to share with us ;-).

I have life and job in services to others especially Nepalese underprivileged, orphaned, disadvantaged and street children & also Nepalese women. For me as a human being is very important to enlighten myself by serving others and I truly believe that my life would be complete if I somehow could able to help, care and share with others by following the true path of life shown by our ten true teachers, with Love & Peace.

I participate in CS by helping child education and women empowerment with information of Nepalese Government and to make them feel Home away Home in Nepal.

As a house wife :-

Singing, Cooking, Dancing and watching movies with my family.........I like too much traveling and sharing apart of their travel.

As a social worker. :-

a) :- Assisting Kids & Women empowerment :-

Despite the numerous promises and provisions made by the Nepalese government, the development regions of many of Nepalese children continues to be pitiable.
Statistics reveal that there are close to 1 lakh child laborers about 3 to 5 thousand children are forcibly engages prostitution and at least 50 thousand children live on the streets in Nepal.
Government reports indicate that 1 million children between 6 - 14 years don't attend school. Official information further indicates that just a little over one third of all children who enroll in grade one reach grade eight. And this is a country which has made education for children as fundamental right but they are deprived of that.

b):- To help Nepalese women through Empowerment programs:-

I believe when women are supported and empowered, all of the society benefits. Their families are healthier, more children go to school, agriculture productivity improves and incomes increase. In short communities become more resilient.
For a country whose population of women alone is more than the total population of many countries, we fare pretty low where their treatment is concerned. The number of sexual abuse & domestic violence cases against women clearly throws light on the fact that women in Nepal do not enjoy even basic rights...................
I try to arrange at least four classes in a week, programs for women awareness, where women give direction to women by sharing their own views & experiences.

MY ANSWER :- My office is in Thamel which is 40 minutes away from International Airport,20 minutes from New bus park . I live in Manmaiju which is 20 minute far from our office.

My ANSWER:- From international airport gate come out and take a taxi . Tell the driver to take to Thamel .

YOUR QUESTION:Do we have to pay charge everything?
MY ANSWER: You have to pay for everything except living in office.

MY ANSWER :- Anyday.

MY ANSWER :- Upto 10 pm from 6am.

MY ANSWER :-After November and before march, it is cold, so please carry your warm clothes.
And from April to October Light clothes are good (because it is summer and it is too hot during May to till August, september onwards november.)......
You may need woolen clothes in December & January & mid of February only ........
Lonely planet, Rough guide and other travel books are very helpful and for medicine I will aware you if anything very specific need during your travel in Kathmandu .

YOUR QUESTION :- Are there any formalities to stay with you?
MY ANSWER :-Nothing for Indian travelers,but for foreign travelers,it is important to bring photocopy of Visa & Passport with your passport size photo. You have to help us in volunteering activity.

YOUR QUESTION :- Why these visa's & passport's photocopy & photo are important for us? (This question only belongs to foreign travelers.)
MY ANSWER :- Information regarding your stay with us is very important to register (by filling "C" from) with Foreigners Regional Registration Officer of the District (FRRO) . I will help you for filling this form.

YOUR QUESTION :- Is there anything we can do for your kids by giving education and empowering women?
MY ANSWER :- Of course you can, whatever you wish to.

Your Question:- If we are coming for long stay to help in your INGO , What you recommend?
My Answer:- I cannot give you a long stay but i can arrange your stay with some nice Nepali hosting families, where you will have to contribute for accommodation and food. These families are our helping hands to run our social projects.

Shared Room: Depends
I have a room with two beds and i prefer to host single person at a time but possibly you may meet any old couch surfer who already stayed with us and now he/she leaving India or returning back for home. Well it is very important for me to stay in touch once we meet in our lovely precious life, so meeting again and again gives us a deep color of love, faith and humanity in life *** (In sharing room women(female) privacy comes first.) Thank you
