About Me

SORRY I ONLY ACCEPT FEMALE! please read all my profile or I may not reply

-
I laugh a lot, and my laughing voice is so unique that you can recognize me easily. I like my sound of laughter :)

Sometimes I can say myself spontaneous. When traveling, I don't usually plan anything except when needed. I just follow what my mind says, and love the feeling with full of satisfaction I can get after achieving things I believe from my heart.

I had a gap year and just came back to my uni. I was working in London as a bartender during my year off, which was full of excitement!Been traveled a lot, and got a favor from so many hosts from different countries, and I think it’s time to give it back to other surfers. So now I am trying to host people. But just let you know- I am not flexible usually, coz it’s my last year of uni and I have a part time job as well. So- send me a message and I will see if I can! And before doing that, please read my profile to the end- I would not share a room together with whom I don’t know about if I were you haha

Plus, Couchsurfing is not a dating service. If you are using it on that purpose, please don't message me and go for Tinder.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to make friends who live in the city I am going to visit. Out of the touristic place, I want to experience local things and learn a real life of them. Taking a semester off, I traveled around whole Europe for about 3 month and learned things I wouldn't know without the people I met through here. I found Couchsurfing interesting as a way of knowing the real city!

Interests

I have two majors, which are Literature and Media. Actually I'm more into Media, especially in filming.

I love something adventurous. Sometimes I love putting myself in hard situation, like hiking over 5 hours, jogging 2 hours, or travelling withouht any plans. This sort of things usually bring me joyfull feeling that I can achieve whatever I want. As for travelling, no plan always makes unexpected and interesting situations and that's the point I like.

Music, Movies, and Books

Kean, RadioHead, King's of convenience, Ed Harcourt, Birdy, Ben Howard, James Blake, Bon Iver, Keaton Henson, JongShin Yoon… they are musicians I love. Anyway the most important thing is I really enjoy music.

Film takes huge part in my life. esp Coen brothers, Pedro Almodovar, Wong Karwai and Quentin Tarantino. Almost all of their movies are awesome. Not considering the director, my favorite movie is 'Eternal sunshine of spotless mind'.

Sorry I hardly read books these days, what a shame! But found it so inspiring ‘Dubliners’ recently.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walking trip to Spain called 'Camino de Santiago', done 800km hiking only by foot. Never worked out before, so was so struggling for the beginning. But I got used to walking, and since 1 week, I became enjoying walking itself. Loved breathing fresh air after a long hike although I got lots of blisters on my foot(even I enjoyed the pain which felt like I was alive!), and meeting amazing people on the road was threw in!

But the most amazing thing about this walking trip was I got to realise simple life could be the key for my own happiness. I used to have high expectations about myself, pushing myself to get more and more whatever they are. But my life on this road was so simple- I just slept, woke up, had a meal whenever I felt hungry, and walked 30km a day thinking nothing. Now I don't worry things I have little control over, and know I can also be the happiest with things just essential in my life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share Korean cultures and my travel experience if you are willing to listen.
And I'm ready to make any Korean food you want! I think, no, hope I'm good at cooking haha.
Though I'm not professional, I can take a nice photo of you. I had taken photography course in my university, so it can't be terrible at least. I am carrying nice(big and old but it is still useful.) DSLR thesedays. It's also real fun for me to capture someone's adorable moments.
