About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to travel and meet artistic and creative people - Auito! ho bisogno di conversare in italiano!.
ABOUT ME
A generous fun loving person who is open to new opportunities and travel. Now living at Raymond Terrace 30 minutes out of Newcastle NSW. I love to have travellers stay; love my garden and love to cook for others. Love art, music, literature and always open to new ways, thoughts and ideas.
PHILOSOPHY
Be aware of the opportunities available to you and open to what the world has to offer. Treasure the people you meet. People may not always remember what you have done, but they will always remember the way you made them feel.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy books on travel, art, on detective novels, etc. Robert Dessaix is one of my favourite authors, but I read anything that might grab my attention intellectually or just for fun for example "The Book Thief", "The Time Traveller's Wife", "Shantaram","The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night'Time", "Desiring Italy", "City of Fallen Angels",Death Sentence - the decay of public language. Music - whatever takes my mood - Movies mainly European such as Amelie, Spanish Apartment, The Dancer Upstairs, Shall we Dance (Japan). Also Lost in Translation, Invasion of the Barbarians - so many.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have travelled to China, Italy and Greece, England, Scotland, Wales, Spain and bella Sicilia. Every moment and every experience was special - the food of course was phenomenal. Coming back here to the local Chinese restaurants was a real shock! I have learnt that it really is the great people you meet.Spent time in South Korea in March - the most amazing thing was to see my son survive emergency surgery, and of course experience the continuing generosity of the Korean people.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to learn from everyone as we all have something to offer. I have an 82 year friend and she teaches me about art, literature and gardening - we are always learning.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Fun and laughter..
