About Me
Hi! Im Suzy 28 yrs old and I'm a small animal vet from the Netherlands. I have lived in New Zealand for the past two years but have recently moved back to Europe to continue my training in Veterinary Oncology. I currently live in Haarlem but whenever I get a chance I spend my time at the beach in Zandvoort. Since I was a kid I've always been obsessed with traveling. I love being out in nature, surfing, hiking, camping, so as soon as I finished high school I took two years off to do so. I just had enough money to buy the tickets so I just worked along the way. I taught kitesurfing and snowboarding to earn money to get to my next destination. When I was working with wildlife in Namibia I realized that was my way to go. I wanted to become a veterinarian and combine my love for animals, traveling and developmental work.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
During my trips and while living abroad I've met the most amazing people from all over the world. On so many occasions I have been lucky enough to find the right people at the right time, and join locals to the most beautiful places I would have never been able to find. While I'm back in the Netherlands I love to meet people from around the world, maybe offer you a place to stay, show you around or give some tips on places to see/surf.
