About Me

Graduated from high school in 2000, joined the US Navy, did the 4+ years, managed a health food store, and then eventually went back to school to study ethnobotany. I recently earned my B.S. in Biological Sciences at OSU in Stillwater, OK and will soon be in Grenoble, France at UJF to earn a Master 2 degree in Biology.
I am very pleasant! I'll cook and clean for you! And I am a very good storyteller!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What a great idea! If I were in the position, I'd want crazy people (good crazy, not bad crazy) over here all the time! I love swapping stories, especially if it means learning about foreign cultures!
Currently (Aug 2015), I am looking to Couchsurf for approximately 2 weeks until my housing contract is finalized with the housing agency CROUS.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite band is Vampire Weekend; best soundtracks on planet Earth are derived from Wes Anderson movies. I'm also a big Bjork fan, Cat Stevens fan...
Movies: WES ANDERSON! For particulars: 1. Life Aquatic 2. Darjeeling Limited 3T. Royal Tennenbaums and Rushmore 4. Budapest Hotel 5. Bottle Rocket 6. FMF 7. Moonrise Kingdom... Runners-up to the list include Amelie and the ORIGINAL Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Books: Favorite is "Narcissus and Goldmund" by Herman Hesse, followed by his "Siddhartha." I think Mark Twain is genius, and I loved "The Count of Monte Cristo" (Dumas) and "The Alchemist" (Coehlo).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ride my bike all winter long.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll talk science all day. I'm big into plant genetics.
I would LOVE to work on my French, so if anyone wants to learn English, I got ya covered.
I will always share my sandwich with you.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'll talk about science and gardening and alternative medicine and food whenever I'm not sleeping!
