Overview
About Me
I am a life-long learner, a positive person, and a jack of all trades (yes, expert of none).
I am learning Rueda, Brazilian Zouk (dance) and Italian. I garden, bike, create tile mosaics, make pasta and bread, and am an amazing procrastinator. I am a Master Gardener through the University of Minnesota Extension, and a Recycling Ambassador through my county.
When I travel I love learning about and eating local food and just wandering around a city. I have WWOOFed two times in Italy and plan on doing it again. 🇮🇹
I host on and off, depending...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet people and to save money. I prefer to experience a town by meeting people rather than seeing all the sights. This is so very exciting!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - action, adventure, comedy... Old favourites are: Pane e Tulipani, Bladerunner, Fight Club, Brazil, Howl's Moving Castle.
When I have a few free minutes I watch a few shows on Big Mouth, Archer, British Bake Show...
Books - I read when I can. Current book is Female Nomad and Friends. A book I recommend is The Art of Dying Well by Katy Butler.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The recent amazing thing was to clean out my garage and use it to park the car inside!!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach middle eastern dance, how to make pasta, how to maintain a car, how to reduce, reuse, recycle, compost. I can learn most things!!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I will help with cleaning up and making food!! I am fairly tidy and try not to be a bother.
