About Me

A good day for me is when something unexpected happens that takes me out of the daily routine. It can be something small written on a wall or a surprising conversation. I'm a down to earth and open minded person and subtly fascinated with putting things in perspective. I'm always aiming at growing and understanding. No matter if it's by a conversation or by a book. And. Not to forget: I have a subtle love for irony. Currently I work as a freelancers and I have my own art studio in Amsterdam where I work on my own creative projects.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The first time using Couchsurfing was for a few day trip to Berlin. Since then I met amazing people (also a few weird ones of course, but at least a funny story remains). Sometimes as a host, at events, to show them around or for having a drink. So why I'm on Couchsurfing? These days I mainly use it when traveling alone. Sometimes it's good to have some company!

Unfortunately my current place is to small to host people (times will change some day ;) )

Music, Movies, and Books

Music wise I'm really into electronic music / techno. You can find me in a club or at a festival so now and then, every year still discovering some really amazing and talented musicians.

I love reading psychology/philosophy related books, understand why people do as how they do, never ending mission. And some fictional authors I'm into these days are Kundera and Marukami.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made an art installation with origami birds that was exposed at a big festival in the Netherlands. I felt honored and amazed to be part of people's experience.
