After working, studying and bringing up children, I am finally getting round to having some adventures myself. I hope to travel and make new friends, also to share the city where I live with others.

I am Christian in my outlook and I try to live with an open heart and mind.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met some lovely couch surfers who inspired me to join. I have surfed once and hosted the new friend I made for a return visit.

Intereses

Many and various but here are a few:

I love to spend time at the coast, I just love to be outside. Walking, gardening, growing and cooking fruit and veg, reading, coffee, cake, cinema, dining, evenings in front of the fire on the sofa.

I write about travel and surfing and also take photographs for publications.

Música, películas y libros

I have read quite a lot and formerly had a career in book-selling, as a book buyer and bookshop manager.

My musical tastes are wide, I sing with a gospel choir but mainly listen to contemporary music.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I went on a doors off helicopter flight over Oahu, whilst attending Pipemasters 2016. The north shore from above is so, beautiful we even saw humpback whales migrating!

I am happy to share the skills that I have if anyone wants to ask me about them. I would love to learn to cook with Asian flavors, especially chili, ginger and garlic.
