ABOUT ME

Friendly and polite, tidy person. I love experiencing new cultures. I have a good sense of humor and love to laugh. I like bars and restaurants and having good conversations. I don't mind a night out here or there but I'm not what you'd call a party animal. I love to do volunteer work but don't tend to stay in one place for too long.

PHILOSOPHY

Try and do what you can to make a difference. It doesn't have to be a great act of kindness, sometimes the smallest things end up making the biggest difference. Even a smile goes a long way.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by taking advantage of your hospitality and couches! I'm traveling for 6 months at the moment so I am unable to offer up my own couch but I can give great travel advice on back packing in Scotland.

Interests

I love to see and experience different cultures and ways of life. I do a lot of volunteering at animal shelters and I'm very keen on looking after our environment. That being said, I'm not a vegetarian and don't preach to people. I'm really into active sports like snow boarding, rock climbing, diving, tramping, cycling and horse riding. I also love a good book, and have watched a heck of a lot of movies. I also really enjoy cooking and a glass of wine now and then!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I volunteered with elephants 4 years ago in Thailand and it just took my breath away. Such gentle, powerful creatures.
Going hang gliding in New Zealand is perhaps one of most spectacular things I've done. There is nothing in this world closer to flying like a bird than hang gliding.
