About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Road Tripping to look for America! Then after I would like to host others once I find a place to settle.

ABOUT ME

Right now I'm basically traveling around in my car for the next several months with my friend Onamikii. I just moved from Ann Arbor and I am undecided on my next place to move after that. I think my life's passion is cooking and more specifically baking. I spent the last year and a half opening and running a "lunch counter" with one of my friends out of a market in Ann Arbor.
I enjoy bike riding, painting and drawing and all sorts of arts and crafts. I was a history of art major in college but I've always enjoyed doing art more than studying it.
I like making new friends and hearing other people's stories.

PHILOSOPHY

It just keeps going

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Once I settle down somewhere for a bit I would love to host people. I also love cooking anything for anyone at almost anytime.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've often hosted friends of friends on my couch/in my apartments in Ann Arbor and I loved showing them around the town. I also lived in a few coops in Ann Arbor which were often hosting people and allowed me the opportunity to stay in other coops around the country. I wasn't traveling very much at the time but did end up staying at one in Buffalo. Although I was only there for the night it was nice to be greeted by someone and share a glass of wine before going to bed.

Interests

Cooking, baking, drawing, painting, bicycling, outdoors, cities, learning languages, seeing live music of different assortments.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm about to go on an amazing three month road trip across the United States so I can tell you all about it! One time I went on Safari in South Africa which I think was one of the cooler things I've ever done. I

Teach, Learn, Share

I love cooking/baking and sharing meals with people. In the last year of running a kitchen I've developed my skills at narrating what I'm doing while I cook and explaining recipes and tastes to people. I've never considered myself a great teacher but this is something that I enjoy and find it easy to break down into step by step processes.
