I am a traveler. I have been to over 30 countries and been taken in by strangers to made feel welcome. This is my chance to return the good karma!

ABOUT ME

I have traveled extensively for long periods of time. I still love to travel, but in shorter stints now. I have had several different careers, none of which are related to the previous one. I am not a neat freak, but try to keep things in place. I love my cat more than anything. I am a vegetarian and prefer not to have meat cooked in the house. I can pretty much get along with anyone and appreciate all cultures.

PHILOSOPHY

We are all on this earth together, trying to figure things out along the way. We should hold each other up rather than tear each other down. It makes the world and life go so much smoother. And you should have fun and enjoy in all that you do. :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am still fairly new to the CS project but completely believe in it's mission. As I said before, I have had virtual strangers in countries I have visited take me in and open up their homes. Strange for a New Yorker, but it always enriched the experience of my trips as well as saved me money. I would like to continue this tradition.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't, as of yet, had any couch surfing experiences with CS yet but look forward to it in the future!

I know the subway backwards and forwards. KEY to visiting the city. My vast world travels have helped me to understand what it is to be a visitor in a strange place and how to present my own home town to others. And when I show my city to others I can see a new beauty and perspective thru their eyes that makes me fall in love with it again.
