My current mission is to live in Peace and harmony on this beautiful planet, using as few resources as is possible while creating beauty and interesting side dishes. I love my garden, and people with smiles on their faces and songs in their hearts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since I have been living in France I have had lots of friends sleep on my couch. I love hosting, sharing with others.

Interests

I love dance of all sorts. Love gardening, nature in general. I love to swim, to learn about others and their culture. I like handiwork, both creating it and seeing what others have done. I like music, art and theater. I like to walk outside in beautiful environments.

Music, Movies, and Books

The King of Hearts was a great movie.One of my tops. I enjoy Monty Python, Woody Allen (most of his stuff), I love Barbara Kingsolver's writing.I loved Annie Proulx the Shipping News. All kinds of music except rap and heavy metal. I like a variety.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I rode my bicycle from the mid-west to Seattle, WA in the USA. Meeting people, seeing the country and learning its history first hand was a wonderful experience.I spent two weeks with the members of a small Portuguese village, dancing with them in their traditional festivals, swimming in hidden pools beneath a Roman bridge, learning about their foods and traditions. Wandering through Ireland seeking out music, dance and beautiful landscapes;

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach Yoga and dance. I am interested in the I Ching and Runes. I like to learn new languages, and about the history and cultures of others. I am interested in living clean and green. I grow organically, and am interested in natural healing methods.
