About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To listen more and speak less - this is REALLY hard for me!
ABOUT ME
Clearly there are plenty of 50+ and 60+ people involved in CS which is great but I have friends of all ages in my life and I believe that age isn't relevant to friendship. I am truly blessed to be where I am in my life and I love to share that with others. Major change created new openings for me and connecting with others who welcome change is always special. I am definately on a journey that leads me to be a little different from some people my age - but thankfully, I am meeting more likeminded folks, the more I travel. I enjoy growth groups, weekend nurturing groups - I've run my own women's groups called Women Honouring Ourselves - which was great fun. I try to be led by my intuition although it is so easy to get lost along the way. I am looking forward to meeting many new people before I leave this planet.
PHILOSOPHY
"We need to be the change we want to see in the world.....Ghandi"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
What a wonderful, amazing initiative! I am loving the opportunity to host people at this stage and intend to become a couchsurfer myself this year.
June 2009 - Just stayed with a wonderful family in Germany after having hosted their daughter earlier in the year. What an amazing experience - to be 'a couchsurfer' with someone you already met through Couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books
Avid reader - novels, Buddhist authors, holistic and healing authors, health and wellbeing books. Love alternative movies and also chick flicks! My music tastes are voted 'horrendous' - love all the old stuff from my teen years and modern love songs! Oh dear!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Survived three children growing to be amazing, beautiful, functional adults!
Teach, Learn, Share
My whole life has been devoted to caring and sharing and nurturing. For a while I questioned if that was all there was to me and my life and had it been worth it - now I know it was! And I would like to continue doing that and CS might just be another way I can do it.
