Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live life to the fullest! See places, meet people, be part of the world
ABOUT ME
Cheerful, easy-going, curious and collector of experiences. I like to get to know new people, especially if they're unusual. My favorite color is green.
PHILOSOPHY
Do things that you feel are meaningful, treat other people well, and enjoy yourself as much as possible; life's too short anyway, so better seize the day!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have surfed with quite a few people, and have hosted a couple of times myself, something I really enjoyed. I also studied Couchsurfing for my Master's dissertation, which I have recently finished. Currently I'm not able to host, but I'm happy to meet up during weekends in or around Colchester!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I stayed with people in several places in the US a few years ago, had some interesting experiences and a lot of fun! Then I has a bit of a CS snooze, but in 2011 I became active again, and made some wonderful new friends.

Teach, Learn, Share
I'm trying to find out why and how people participate in Couchsurfing, how they come to trust each other, and how it affects their identity. Is Couchsurfing really this transnational and cosmopolitan community?I can teach you Dutch, like to cook for people, and am happy to share my opinions on just about anything.
