Hey!
I’m Svaja, and I am currently a contemporary dance student in Germany. :)

Needless to say, a lot of my passions revolve around artistic endeavours, self-realisation, and creativity. My life is greatly surrounded by dance, art, theatre and music. Since a young age, I’ve been playing violin in different bands and folk ensembles, also dancing, performing with Lithuanian folk dance around Europe. I also dabble in painting and drawing, I'd love to explore the field of sculpture in the future. As of now, I’m focusing on training in contemporary dance and enjoying travelling during my breaks. I love to meet people, share great time together and make precious memories. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Once I get to have breaks and holidays during my studies, I always love to get out of my current living space and explore what's out there. I believe that Couchsurfing is the best way to travel because, for me, meeting people is a very important component in traveling and exploring!

Music, Movies, and Books

I really love modern jazz, soul, Lithuanian rock ... but generally I listen to everything.

I rarely watch movies, but always love to discover interesting films. Recently I absolutely loved ‘Past Lives’.

On my free time I enjoy reading Japanese literature, but recently I’ve been trying to read more philosophy, books about religion and perhaps less fiction books. Always down for any book recommendations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 12 years old I went on a bus trip with my art school to a dance festival, and we managed to visit 12 countries in 12 days :).
