ABOUT ME

CHIN:
An ordinary university student (who quitted), majored in sociology. Have been staying in Sweden for quite a while now but still a flâneuse in the core. Paint to pay metro-rides and socialize for a living. Specialize in appreciating the most trivial things of all and luckily quite handicapped when handling monstrous concepts like morals, leverage investment and Catholicism.

SEBASTIAN:
I have studied quite a while, just reverted to writing songs and working with music. I read quite a bit and enjoy reminding myself of the vastness of the universe cascading away above my head.
I love people for what they are, and what they can become.

PHILOSOPHY

All we have is but now. So play along life, our serendipitous life, against all fears, against all discouragements, against all apparent impossibilities.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have been hosting quite a lot during last summer and I have surfed around Europe on my last trip. So far it is the best thing that has happened to me besides from my birth.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Books constitute a significant part of my life, from well-known stories like Le Petit Prince and the Alchemist, of which the beauty lies in their simplicity; classic English literature like Charles Lamb and Virginia Woolf, whose words provoke intensive thinking; to philosophical narrations like The Roads to Freedom and The Unbearable Lightness of Being which force you to stare right at the very core of our existence.

About cinematography, genres don't matter much to me. I enjoy almost all kinds of films, from chickflick to hard-core cult, from woody allen to kieslowski, as long as it has an inspirational plot/script, attempts something ground-breaking, chooses an unique palette or is simply beautifully made.

The same applies to music, but currently i'm quite into electronica and idm. The guys in the house have their own ambient-electronic-rock-ish band. So, big yay for all traveling musicians who long for the fretboard, drumsticks and the sweet sound of piano.
