CURRENT MISSION

I am not really into self description.I don't have many good friends but those I have are real friends.I am always willing to help them if I possibly can.Nobody can make me change my basic values in life.I always try to be fair and I am very liberal and don't get offended easily.I accept that people are different and I am quite tolerant,unless I hate racism and when people can only think about themselves.I do my best to enjoy life.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was introduced to this 8 years ago.I later forgot about it until it came back to my mind in July.I was curious and registered and have since them hosted loads of people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted loads of people as I said above(922 now),mostly very good people but in very few occasion not.If people are only looking for a free place to sleep they are not welcome here.There are guest houses and hotels here in Akureyri
People who are here because they want to get to know me and spend time with me,(if I am not to busy with work) are very welcome to stay with me and also people who are ready to share things,not only to accept. I like to get to know my guests and I love to chat and even guide them around Akureyri and if I have time I am more than willing to go with them as a guide to places which are not very far from Akureyri.All decent people are welcome here:).I want my guests to feel like home if they possibly can so no formalities are needed here.You are free to dress(or not:)) as you like and you are used to at your home.

Interesses

My hobbies are some sports like football and basketball,athletes and tennis.Also hiking and I enjoy wild nature and naturism.I also like cooking very much and I love to share my kitchen with other surfers cooking with me.I also like movies and I also love good books and good conversations with friends and other nice people like couch surfers.I am also an active member of Amnesty International,have been there for years.I really care about human rights and I like animals and their welfare as well.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

There are many movies I like but not the mainstream Hollywood movies.I am fond of European movies.To mention an example of different movies I like I have to say Amarcord and Torrente:)Music is prog.rock,Jazz,some blues and some metal.There are to many books to name it but probably Don Quixote and the adventures fom Munchhausen.
