I am a relaxed, open minded, positive, playful but also down to earth person. I can be a little shy and introvert at times but also have plenty of exciting extrovert moments. I guess it mostly depends on whether I'm comfortable and had a good night sleep :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After owning an IT company for about 15 years it's time for change. Planned a long holiday to Thailand to unwind, find myself again and rethink my future. Want to get to know a country and its people from a local point of view rather than from the obvious touristy ways.

Interests

Many computer related subjects. I love my boat which I use as much as possible to go out with friends for a (nightly) cruise trough the canals of Amsterdam. Love good food and cooking. Sleeping late. Going out for drinks with friends.

Basically I like al kinds of music and movies, depending on the mood. But mostly I listen to reggae, hip-hop, funk, jazz and some house music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My travels; diving in Jamaica, bicycle trough New York, fishing in Norway, driving my boat trough the canals of Amsterdam, Snowboarding in the Alpes.
