Traveling is the passion of me and my girlfriend Julia. That's why we sold all of our things and left our home. Our biggest dream to travel around the world became true! :)

So far, every day is different and special. It is our pleasure to meet people from all over the world, learn about their cultures, languages and daily lifes. And we hope that we can also give something back to them with our positive thinking of life, our happiness and stories about our trips :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We don't want to follow the path which thousands of people took before us. We prefer to visit local people instead of touristic hotels. All the people we have met within the last few years with Couchsurfing made our journey so special. They are the reason we can experience places in the most authentic way.

Interests

We love to be active and do a lot of sports. The smallest reason is also a reason which should be celebrated :)
We also like to read, write, learn and teach.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Made our dream of traveling the world come true:

- hitchhiked in almost 50 countries in Europe and Asia

- visited the North Cape with a car which a family just gave to us for one week to explore their beautiful country Norway

- drank Malt Scotch with a Scotsman is his kitchen

- went around Ireland in a caravan of a Dutch woman

- hiked in the Caucasus mountains

- rode motorbikes and camels in the Iranian desert

- visited Ashgabat in Turkmenistan

- tried to hitchhike in China

- hiked the Great Wall Of China

- visited North Korea
