About Me

CURRENT MISSION: relax.

I am still on the way to find my self using the try-and-error-method. sometimes there is more error than anything else :-P
Furthermore I try to live consequent on my philosophy of saving nature and living in a considerate and sustainable way - I have to say that I am not as consequent as I want to be (but at least I try).

PHILOSOPHY:

respect and sustainability.
no pressure, life is too short to be sad.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is an improvement of what my parents thaught me. We never had holiday in hotels or booked something. We were always visiting friends. Couchsurfing gives us the possibility to find friends all over the world. And to learn much more things then you could learn from a tourist guide. And at least, it is also a good opportunity to travel without that much money.
I love getting to know people and to see how they live. The experiences and memories you get are much more intense, if you have the possibility to see a place or city or culture not only from the visiting-view but benefit from the experience of your host. I love to take, but it also makes me happy when I can share and give.
When I was younger, I always wanted to emmigrate. I thought that every other place would be better than my home and homecountry, but now, I still want to go abroad, to travel and to see as much as possible, but I also love and aestimate my home, and also my land.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did couchsurfing with some friends in England and Scotland in 2009 and in Ireland 2010. My last Boyfriend also hosted people from time to time. I was always travelling or staying with people with couchsurfing profiles so I never created my own profile (I hate writing all that stuff now - it takes so much time and there is always my fear of "bad people" abusing my data :P )
2011: My first own guests - 4 travelling taiwanese girls. It was nice to have them here for two nights.

August 2011: Just arrived back home from a trip to Istanbul. On the trip me and my friend Judith had only really nice and friendly hosts. I don't know how to say thankyou - the only thing i can do: invite people to stay with me!

September 2011: Thank you to all our nice hosts in Italy!

...in the last years i had to study a lot. so i did not travel around, but i hosted nice people whenever it was possiple.

In 2014 I used couchsurfing for the first time in Germany. I did a bike tour following river Main.

Interests

I love reading and art stuff and theatre,
visiting art galaries.
good movies and going to the cinema in winter times (but I hate commercial movie-palasts).
I cannot live without listening to music and going dancing on independant or electronic music from time to time.

I like meeting friends and going out for good parties, but I am already old enough to stay home, if it is not worth of wasting the next day.

I like endless philosophising with or without wine.
I like discussing and the engagement of people who try to change something.
I love nature and hiking (what I do much too rarely because I never find one who wants to accompany me),
I love sitting on a fire with wine and some guitar music and I love sleeping under the starlit sky.

I like to question people on their opinion - especially, if they are from different cultures (I love to learn about and from the diversity...)

I have an embarrassing passion for nice things and therefore always growing collections of useless artifacts.

I love taking pictures(but really need a better camera - one of my dreams), travelling, apples, beer and red dry wine, the seaside, the beach, sunsets,...
I should better stop now!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love good movies, especially Tarantino, Kubrik, Lynch,...
I love scandinavian humour and British accent and movies which want to tell something.
...I like a lot of different styles,
but I don't like too much violence and horror which I can only watch as long as I am love-sick.

I love typical british investigation books and the Ayla romans which help me not to loose my idealism of a good end.

I really enjoy electro swing, electro and independant music.
