About Me
IMPORTANT: Read the part about my home. The space we're offering is small, but cozy and with some privacy.
We CANNOT host more than one person.
Always curious, always exploring new angles.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting great people, sharing stories and experiences. I was acquainted with CS through dear friends of mine while we were all living in dorms and ended up quite fond of the idea. So far I've had nothing but great experiences hosting and surfing!
Interests
-Travelling. Isn't that why we're here? Either by proxy (hosting) or going out ourselves
-SCUBA, there's so much freedom underwater
-Cooking, bland food is a wasted opportunity
I've always been fascinated with building things. Building a bunch of SCUBA equipment, making clever fixes to day-to-day problems, always looking for ways to combine things. One day I'm going to build an aquaponics setup.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swimming with whale sharks. Slowly gliding off the boat into the ocean and looking down to see a fish so big it dwarfs the 10 meter dive boat you just slid off is an experience that cannot be described meaningfully.
Diving with tiger sharks. The pure adrenaline of being close to something so awe-striking, so terrifying. Yet they are so calm, so graceful as they move through the water.
Getting up close with a family of macaque monkeys in Indonesia, seeing them climb and fall.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Input on most topics, always willing to learn new things. Can cook a solid meal, vegetarian or otherwise, and always looking to learn new recipes!
