Travelling is a central theme in my life. Last year, through many coincidences, I travelled to Nicaragua and got stuck. I decided to move there even though I love my job as a social worker in a children's home.

I like to know different languages and cultures and a different point of view. I want to see how people live and what their homes and daily lives are like and you can only get that through something like Couchsurfing.

I'm currently living in Australia and heading back to Nicaragua in December or January. But first I want to gain other experiences and improve my English. I decided to spend a few more weeks in California or/and Hawaii to get a taste of the amazing nature, the people and hopefully good baby waves for surfing.
